Sarah Ward and Charity Moser founded Empire Growth Partners to help organizations reach their visions. Both Empire State natives, the partners work with individuals and teams across the country to build and implement sustainable growth strategies.
Sarah Ward, CLF®

Sarah Ward is co-founder of Empire Growth Partners. Sarah has dedicated her 20+ year career to executive leadership coaching, helping Fortune 500 companies build sustainable growth strategies, and guiding those firms to hire the right talent.
Driven by her passion for seeing individuals grow through planning, training and coaching, as well as the impact EGP is able to make on its clients, Sarah takes pride in providing her client’s with first-class service. As co-founder, she specializes in helping individuals and teams build their productive capacity. Sarah's focus is on driving growth through strategy, leadership development, and execution.
Prior to co-founding EGP, Sarah held various positions with Northwestern Mutual, one of Fortune’s Most Admired Financial Planning Companies. As the Director of Development, Sarah served in many capacities: recruiting, hiring, training and professional development of all new full-time advisors, as well as leading a team of financial advisor interns. Sarah advised and coached teams for 10 years as Director of Development. Most recently, Sarah served as the Growth Consultant of the Internship Program for the entire country. During Sarah's time with Northwestern Mutual's corporate office (Milwaukee, WI), she partnered with top leaders to transition Internship Programs into Business Units. Sarah also partnered with field leaders to develop a national leadership program, in addition to a national training program.
Sarah received her BS degree in business administration-public management. She has held the NYS Life, Accident and Health License, along with her Series 6 and Series 63. She currently holds the Chartered Leadership Fellowship, Master Coaching, and Master Trainer Certifications.
An Empire State native, Sarah frequently enjoys spending time with her family in upstate NY. Sarah is married to Dylan who she recruited to Northwestern Mutual in 2004 and they reside in St. Petersburg, FL where the sun shines much more often than her two previous homes. In Sarah’s spare time she enjoys relaxing summer weekends at her cottage on Lake Ontario with her family, pretending to be a drummer and playing tourist with her husband around St Pete.

Charity Moser is co-founder of Empire Growth Partners. Charity is experienced in partnering with individuals and teams to take the next step in growth and development.
Motivated by her client’s success in talent acquisition and leadership development, Charity prides herself on her ability to help organizations align their talent strategies with business goals, and is passionate about seeing individuals grow through planning, training and coaching. Charity’s goals as co-founder include being a partner to organizations on the path of vision attainment and coaching individuals to become the best version of themselves.
Prior to co-founding Empire Growth Partners, Charity held various positions with the financial planning giant, Northwestern Mutual, most recently as a recruiting and early productivity consultant in the corporate office. During her tenure with Northwestern Mutual, she held various roles in recruiting, coaching and developing financial advisors and staff.
Charity received a dual Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and business, specializing in innovation & entrepreneurship, from Clarkson University. She has her Chartered Leadership Fellow designation through the American College, is a Certified Master Coach and a Certified Master Trainer. An Empire State native, Charity enjoys spending time at her cottage in upstate New York, hiking, flexing her culinary muscles, and spending time with her dogs: Bella, a boxer and Fiona, a boxer mix.
Kristen Dotterer, CLF®
Kristen Dotterer is a Growth Consultant with Empire Growth Partners. Kristen worked with Northwestern Mutual’s Cunningham Network Office for over 10 years as the Intern Development Officer. While at Northwestern Mutual, Kristen created procedures and systems which led office wide success. Her on boarding process achieved an 85% retention rate. Also, during her time with Northwestern Mutual, Kristen played a key role in advancing the office’s goal post ranking. Kristen is skilled in creating structures within an organization that demands positive results.
Kristen graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Denver Colorado. She now lives in Lakewood, Colorado with her husband, Jarred and their two daughters, Annalyse and Edilyn. Kristen enjoys dancing, camping, exploring the Colorado scenery, and spending time with family and friends.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Gabe loves his Cleveland Browns, but lives for the internship. From 2017 to 2019 Gabe helped recruit over 40 interns per year, averaging over $200,000 of internship premium per year. This landed him as the #1CUD and in back-to-back years during this time.
Gabe is married to his wife Lauren, and dog parents to their pup Bane! Gabe lists his best accomplishments as leading the #1 internship unit in the country, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, and finally marrying his wife Lauren after 7 years in the friendzone.
Lastly, Gabe’s mission is to be contagiously happy in his pursuit to fuel and enhance the visions of others, while he relentlessly fulfills his own.
Annie Kirkpatrick is a Growth Associate at Empire Growth Partners. Prior to joining EGP in November 2021, she served as the Director of Internship Recruitment and Development for the Northwestern Mutual Cunningham Network Office in Denver, Colorado. She began her Northwestern Mutual journey as post-graduate intern, after wrapping up her BSBA and MSBA in Accounting from the University of Colorado – Boulder. After a few months as an intern in Boulder, Annie transitioned to the Campus Recruiter role for the network office in Denver! She saw this a chance to magnify her impact – not only changing the lives of the interns she recruited, but also indirectly changing the lives of all of their clients.
Annie now lives in Gulfport, MS with her fiancé, 2 amazing stepchildren, and their dog, Denver! She is a huge sports fan, with baseball and football being her favorites.
When she is not working, you can find her watching a game on TV or cheering her team on in the stands. She also is a big traveler, even though it’s not always to the most exciting places!
Our team works remotely, but can travel onsite for any training or workshops our clients need!
